A St. Timothy's student finds the hours of the day filled with academic, social, athletic, arts, and community activities. The challenge and goal of a St. Timothy's education is to learn to enjoy the many opportunities, while managing time in a healthy way. Students are encouraged to choose from a wide range of activities outside of their academic requirements. The daily life of the residential school continues well into the evening as academics and athletics give way to club activities, quiet study, and conversations with friends in the Houses.
The development of social and leadership skills is an important aspect of a St. Tim’s education. Student life is guided by a rich curriculum that focuses on personal and global leadership development, self esteem, financial literacy, and wellness. Students learn about these topics through interactive programs, plays, and lectures held throughout the year.
During the weekends, students enjoy a wide range of activities, including dorm movie nights, pizza parties, service projects, and visits to Washington, D.C. and New York City, as well as trips to local mixers, amusement parks, shopping malls, coffee houses, and sporting events.
